Happy 1st of March everyone!
It’s a very chilly one here with a foot of snow so I know that today I’ll be spending the majority of it indoors listening to my February playlist. You can check it out here:
Leave a Light On is a fairly new song and I first heard it at the end of 2017. I started listening to it more and more in February when I was getting ready for uni and it has really grown on me. I really like Tom’s voice and when the beat drops in the song.
Piece By Piece is one of my favourite Kelly Clarkson songs. It has so much meaning and the lyrics make me so emotional. Unsteady is another song that makes me emotional and I’ve been loving the really deep songs this month.
Paradise is the song I’ve listened to most this month, but not by choice. I swear everywhere I’ve been, whether it be uni, the shops or restaurants, this song has been playing. It’s haunting me but I’m not complaining. I love it now.
Fire and the Flood reminds me a lot of my boyfriend Liam and therefore it has a special place in my heart. What Will Become Of Us was, in fact, a recommendation from him and I absolutely love Passenger. I first saw him live as Ed Sheeran’s support act many years ago and I’ve loved him ever since. I’m never going to dislike a song by him.
Him and I was a very different recommendation from Liam. I love getting ready to this song and listening to it when I’m traveling. I really like the track behind it.
Arms Open is my track of the month. Look out for a new blog post where I talk about seeing The Script live and you’ll understand why I love this song.
Everybody’s Changing is an absolute classic and it’s part of my playlist because it was playing at work when I was cleaning and it was getting me through. At the time, I really couldn’t remember who sang the song and it was bothering me so much! I ended up listening to it multiple times that night and fell in love with it all over again.
Finally, Clean is an old Taylor Swift song and it just came on shuffle while I was traveling to Newcastle one day and I’ve listened to it at least once every day since.
Have a fabulous March everyone. What songs have you been loving lately?
