Happy Easter everyone!
How are you spending your easter? I’ll be spending a lot of mine eating chocolate and listening to my March playlist.
Here are my favourite songs from last month:
I went to see The Greatest Showman and like most of the world, I fell completely in love with it. I swear there’s something in the repeating of A Million Dreams that hypnotises you into being addicted to the soundtrack. But seriously, it’s the best film soundtrack to be released in a long time. I could have just used all of the tracks as my March playlist but I’ve chosen my favourite few. I’ve been loving belting them out on car journeys. But not as much as Liam has…
This Is Me is my definite favourite. Keala Settle has a hell of a voice on her and the lyrics just really got to me. It’s a truly feel good song. I hated Loren Allred’s character in the film but her song Never Enough is so emotional and the notes she hits are phenomenal – I’m yet to be able to hit the high notes… I’ll keep dreaming.
The Greatest Show had to be in the playlist realistically and I still get excited when Zac Efron sings his part. The Other Side is my favourite song to sing with my other half in the car as you can tell in the above video – we have so much fun with carpool karaokes. Tightrope is super emotional but still just as catchy as the others.
So now that I’m done fangirling, I’ll discuss the rest of my non-musical related song choices. Candy is an old favourite that I heard somewhere and got stuck in my head. I’ve listened to it a lot this month.
Blow Away is a new favourite that I fell in love with after watching the film Monte Carlo on Netflix when I was feeling down.
Let Me Down is another emotional song that really hit me. Plus its Stormzy so… is there ever going to be a song with Stormzy that I don’t love? Somebody Special is one I’ve been loving and playing on repeat while getting ready. Beautiful Trauma is a song that I’ve also been listening to while getting ready but accidentally taking ages because I’m too busy dancing. Oops. Ps. I’m not one for music videos, but I recommend this one. Pink and Channing Tatum are great dancers together.
What songs have you been loving in March?
