This is a collaborative post giving you some inspo on luxury holidays.
You may not be Paris Hilton or Mariah Carey, but does this mean you can’t have your own luxury holiday?
It was a trick question, of course. You can have all the luxury holidays you want because – believe it or not – you can enjoy the premium treatment without breaking the bank. So, if you and your friends are still looking for the perfect beach vacation in the world, here is a little guide to get you started. But first, you might want to pick your favourite continent. There is, indeed, a lot of possibilities all around the planet.
The European destinations
Europe is surrounded by water. On the South, you’ve got the Mediterranean sea, Adriatic Sea, the Tyrrhenian Sea – this is the sea between Sicily and Sardinia, the Aegean Sea – on the East of Greece – and even the Black Sea. But the English Channel, the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea frame it on the East and North sides. In other words, if you’re looking for beach destinations, Europe is a great place to start. For something a little different, head to Greece, where you can visit the island where Mamma Mia was filmed on – which is excellent timing with the sequel hitting the cinemas now. I can’t wait to see it! If you’re dreaming of the Black Sea, Bulgaria is an amazing luxury destination without the price tag, and you can even party for less than 30p per glass!
Southeast Asia seems like a distant region, but aside from the travel costs, you’ll be pleased to see that most countries have low living costs. In fact, you can even find luxury villas in Seminyak, in Bali, for less than £50 per night! For a budget Asian paradise, you can also try Thailand, especially Rai Leh which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, and Nha Tang’s crescent sandy beach in Vietnam. And you’ll love the cheap and yummy street food!
Explore the African continent
Most people forget about Africa when they plan their beach holidays. So make sure to keep it on your bucket list because Africa has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The Archipelago of Zanzibar, off Tanzania and in the Indian Ocean, has some of the clearer waters you’ll ever see. If you want to experience both the sea and get a glimpse of the past, head to the Seychelles, where you can bathe in the turquoise waters next to glacis boulders.
Following Riri’s steps
Last, but not least, the Caribbean region is not only one of the most exotic locations for holidaymakers. It’s also the place of birth of some of the most beautiful women on the planet. Rihanna’s trademark green eyes come directly from this sunny region. Here again, the flights might be the most expensive part of your holiday. But thankfully, you can find last minute deals for up to a week on one of those exotic islands for just about £300 per person. What are you still waiting for?
In conclusion, you’re spoilt for choice. From European to Caribbean beaches, there are plenty of luxury destinations that are guaranteed to be in your budget! In short, there’s no time to waste: start packing!
