“The quickest way to know a woman is to go shopping with her” – Marcelene Cox.
You chose today’s post so here it is:
I recently took a trip to Primarni. Since I’ve been back home from uni and not had a Primark close enough to me, I just haven’t got there. So, when my mum asked me to go to Darlington with her, I took my chance. WHEN will Primark make a website you can order from?
Anyway, here is what I treated myself to…
I noticed the Lilac shoes first and fell in love. I’m a sucker for pom poms and they were just so cute. Also, if you know me you’ll know lilac is my favourite colour. So, I just HAD to get them. I got a size 5 and popped them in my basket but my mum said I should try them on, so I did. But, stupid me, three days after getting my tattoo, I accidentally bashed it when trying on the shoes and MY GOD that hurt. But, it was worth it because these shoes were the comfiest I’ve ever tried on. Well worth £8.
I then came across the punniest T-shirt I’ve ever seen. Not only is it a fantastic Marvel pun but it’s so relatable. If I’m honest, apart from my school, college and uni friends and my family, I’ve met most of the other people in my life on the web. Modern day relationships and all that. I love a good slogan tee and the sequins are a nice touch. Also, it was in the sale from £8 down to £3 – absolute bargain and by far my favourite buy of the month.
I really struggle to go past anything Beauty and The Beast related without buying it. I spotted this makeup bag with Belle and a rose design on from £5 down to £2 and automatically said MINE! I’m thinking instead of a makeup bag (which I have too many of as it is), I might use it to put stationery in for uni in Septemeber which leads me to…
The cutest stationery items.
I love the fluffy pens from Primark. I have a white one with a black and white french bulldog on the end and it’s so fun to write with so I was over the moon when I found this cute (blue or green? you decide) cactus pen. Can’t wait to annoy the life out of people by writing with this in lectures and seminars and for 50p? Amazing!
But not only that, I found highlighters that look like nail polish for 50p. I don’t know why but these really amused me and I thought they’d be so much fun to revise with as of September.
What do you think of my purchases and have you bought anything from Primark lately?

They honestly do just bring a bit of cheer to something that may be otherwise boring. I love them haha!
