It’s finally the festive month! Damn, November felt like such a drag considering how fast this year flew by but I’m almost ready for a well deserved Christmas break – soon!
But before that, here is my November playlist:
The first song is Cheryl’s new banger Love Made Me Do It. It’s so honest and I probably relate a bit too much but I just love it. I’ve been annoying Liam by singing it all month. Although I’ve heard people saying bad things about her recently especially in regards to how she dressed in the video and on her X Factor performance – I think she still looks amazing. Maybe I’ll always be a big Cheryl fan. Us northerners have to stick together right?
The next song is something completely different. I had a random Spotify playlist playing while talking to Liam one weekend and he said “what is this?” I had no idea but we both agreed it was a very unique track. Since then, it has really grown on me and it’s so calming to listen to.
Shallow HAD to be on here. I cried SO much at the ending of the film and this song is just beautiful. Liam has secretly loved singing this one with me in the car. I talk more about the film and Lady Gaga’s look in a podcast for Fashion North.
Cool Again is another Spotify recommendation – gosh, these posts should be sponsored, haha! It’s another chilled one that I’ve loved playing while getting ready.
Ruin My Life is a song I heard in October and I forgot it existed. For some reason, I’ve heard it played in so many places this month and it’s so catchy that it’s impossible to get out of my head.
Glowing is one of my old favourites and I’ve been loving it more than ever this month. I’ve listened to it on almost every walk to and from uni, every gym session and while doing work.
OMG if you haven’t listened to James Arthur and Anne-Marie sing Rewrite the Stars, what have you been doing!? I won’t ever stop loving The Greatest Showman but when I heard in a Zoella vlog that the Reimagined album existed I made Liam download the full thing to listen to in the car. I can’t say it’s better than the original – it’s really not. But, this is by far my favourite track. Also it’s fun that James is originally from my home town (or close enough) and Anne-Marie is originally from a place close to Liam’s home.
Well, I did say at the start of this post that it’s the festive season, so how could I not have a bit of Bublé on the lead up to it. I’ll just leave that there.
Santa Tell Me stands for that exact same reason but also it’s pretty much the only modern Christmas song that isn’t a cover that I love.
Holes is another song I’ve been singing in the car with Liam. I bloody love Passenger and didn’t realise Liam liked him too until this month – only took me nearly a year to figure that one out.
What songs have you been loving this month?
