I’m back again away from work stress to write about another lovely trip to the farm.
Myself and Liam debated going back to Newham Grange Farm to see Craig the lovely goat, but we decided to try somewhere new.
This time we headed to Tweddle Farm at Blackhall Colliery in Hartlepool to see if any of the animals there are as wonderful as Craig.
Well, they really are.
Outdoors
Although it was a miserable, rainy day, I took my umbrella and put my big boots on and headed to see the animals outside.

Llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep and horses greeted us. One of the miniature horses raced me up and down the field like in that advert for Three.

Sadly I didn’t find out the name of that horse but I’m definitely going to head back to race it again sometime soon.

They have a lovely cafe, indoor mini golf and we even got a free ride on the back of a tractor to show us around the whole farm. I’m so disappointed we didn’t get any photos on tractor! That’s already a reason to go back.
Indoors
Out of the rain, we met sheep, donkeys and more goats along with smaller animals.

They keep the mum animals with the baby animals wherever possible and the mother donkey with her foal were so cute!

We even got to hold the baby lamb. She was absolutely adorable! I think she was called Lola but Liam will correct me in the comments if I’m wrong.
Going to the farm is becoming a regular plan for me. It certainly does relieve some stress and allows me to spend quality time with Liam.
I’m so grateful for these days.
Where is your favourite farm? Let me know in the comments.
Although I’m not returning to my blog as much as I used to, I am planning to write more when I can. In the mean time, you can read more of my work elsewhere by following the links I post on Twitter.
